Earlier this month I entered the Shadows of Brimstone painting contest from Flying Frog Games. I entered all three categories here are my results. I walked away with a load of figures to paint over the coming months.

Star Wars was everywhere. Bandai, Hot Toys and Takara/Tomy had the largest displays.
Tokyo International Toy Show -Transformers and the return of Diaclone.
I went to the Tokyo International Toy Show public day yesterday. The Takara/Tomy exhibition of their sci-fi toys was the best.

I made some headway on several figures, I didn’t expect to be painting the Assassins from Execution force, but I had some extra mixed up paint from Captain Centos that I wanted to use on the Vindicare. One thing led to another and I was painting assassins.

Captain Centos Primed for the Dark Angels
I just picked up my Captain Centos, 100th Store figure from my local Games Workshop. I am planing on finishing painting him this weekend, but I have a ton of outstanding painting on the Silver Tower Figures, the Dark Angels Expansion set, as well as a Griffon commission from my local store. I went ahead and built him and primed him with Caliban Green to create a Dark Angels figure.
When I opened the figure I wasn’t expecting a finecast model. I was expecting it to be, more or less the same as the Imperial Space Marine Anniversary model from last month. Still, it is a great looking figure and I am happy that the quantities held out long enough for me to pick him up.

Hello, My name is Micah Hornung and “Hello My Name is Robot” is an entity that has taken many different forms over the past 12 years since it was an online Comic and toy store. Currently I am relaunching Hello My Name is Robot’s online presence as a Blog about the different interests I have. You can expect that the blog will be about Comics, Toys, Board Games, Video Games, Japan, Game Design, Graphic Design and Illustration.
